Buildings can be built on tree seeds and crafted flooring and paths, but the items will be destroyed in the process. When placing a new building, all tiles of the footprint must be free of obstructions such as your pet, rocks, twigs, and weeds. Unlike Chests, a building does not need to be empty in order to be moved. The building's contents move along with the building, all as a unit. This action applies instantly and is free, requiring no construction time, gold, or resources other than the travel time to the Carpenter's Shop.
